This course is a close study of the intellectual and cultural dimensions of the sociopolitical movement of gay liberation in the United States, 1960-1980.

Essential Capabilities: Interpretation
In this course, students will learn to interpret historical data, literary works, and the social theory generated by the Gay Liberation movement. One of the objects of the course will be to enhance understanding of the variety of the uses and methods of interpretation.
