This is a course for students who arrive at Wesleyan with a good command of French and are ready to develop their reading, writing, and speaking skills through exposure to a variety of challenging cultural and literary materials in various media. It includes a review of basic grammar but emphasizes more complex linguistic structures. |

Additional Requirements and/or Comments: Students are required to attend a one-hour T.A. session each week and are expected to spend three hours a week viewing films outside of class. This course is intended for students who have placed into FREN 112 through the placement test. Students who have not done so should consult with the professor before pre-registering. Students who are not admitted to the course through pre-registration are strongly encouraged to submit an enrollment request and attend the first class. |
